The Learning Centre enjoyed a busy and successful period of activity during May and June 2023. The purpose of this report is to detail the key events and results of this period.
End of School Year Evaluation: A Measure of Success
The end-of-year assessment, which took place from 09 to 15 May 2023, was a crucial moment for our learners. The assessment covered key areas such as workshop technology, work organisation and pattern and product design. The first and second year learners put their dressmaking skills into practice by creating pieces such as the work blouse, handbag and culotte skirt.
We are delighted to announce that the first-year learners have all passed the physical and practical tests. Their commitment and dedication to their learning resulted in outstanding performances. As for the second year learners, we recorded 61 passes and 10 repeats. Although some of them still face challenges, we are determined to support them as they move forward.
Third-year learners were also put to the test with the Certificat de Qualification Professionnelle (CQP) exam. Twenty of them sat this exam and we are proud to announce that 18 were successful, achieving a remarkable pass rate of 90%. This success testifies to their determination and meticulous preparation.
End of School Year Celebration
Saturday 24 June 2023 marked the end of the 2022-2023 school year. In an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie, learners, teaching staff and families gathered to celebrate the achievements of the past year. The Headmistress offered warm words, wishing the learners a happy holiday and the new laureates a great start to their placement. The celebration strengthened the bonds within the centre's community and inspired everyone to continue to flourish.
A resounding success at the Brevet de Qualification Professionnelle (BQP)
Four of our courageous instructors have chosen to apply for the Brevet de Qualification Professionnelle (BQP). Their commitment to excellence and dedication to their own development has paid off, as we are proud to announce an outstanding pass rate of 100%. These instructors have become inspirational role models for our learners and have enhanced the centre's reputation for professional excellence.
In conclusion, the months of May and June 2023 were marked by remarkable achievements and moments of celebration at the Centre. d'Apprentissage. The successes at the end-of-year assessment, the joyous celebration at the end of the school year and the outstanding results at the Brevet de Qualification Professionnelle are testament to the determination, dedication and ongoing commitment to excellence that characterise our community. We look forward to continuing this positive momentum and seeing our learners reach new heights in their career paths.
